TWO INSTRUMENTS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED USING A NAI CRYSTAL OF ONE MILLIMETER THICKNESS TO PRODUCE A MAX SENSITIVITY OF 0.05 MR/HR FULL SCALE WITH A DRIFT RATE OF LESS THAN 3% OF FULL SCALE PER HOUR. BOTH INSTRUMENTS USE SIMILAR CIRCUITS AND EACH WEIGHS 5 POUNDS
