Description/Abstract:
A PHOTOMETER SENSING UNIT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WHICH GIVES ADEQUATE SENSITIVITY TO THE CHANGES IN DICHROMATE CONCENTRACTION AND MINIMUM SENSITIVITY TO CHANGES IN OTHER STREAM VARIABLES. THIS UNIT USES A THERMOSTATED CDS PHOTO-CELL AS A DETECTOR, A GE #44 LAMP AS A LIGHT SOURCE, AND CORNING NUMBERS 5850 AND 4084 GLASS FILTERS AS MONOCHROMATORS. THE UNIT AND ITS CONTROLLER ARE INEXPENSIVE, SIMPLE, AND RUGGED.
