CONCLUDES THAT ALL THE 224-U RECOVERED HNO3 CAN BE USED IN THE PUREX PLANT AT A MINIMU STRENGTH OF 40%. THIS METHOD OF OPERATION ALLOWS MAXIMUM OPERATION OF THE REDOX PLANT. NO ADDITIONAL BURDEN IS PLACED ON THE PUREX PLANT FRACTIONATOR. IT IS CONTSTANT-INDEPENDENT OF THE RATE OF OPERATION OF THE REDOX PLANT.
