Description/Abstract:
RU WAS SCAVENGED FROM SIMULATED DISSOLVER SOLUTION WITH HGS AND CUS SCAVENGERS, USING THIOACETAMIDE TO GENERATE THE H2S HOMOGENOUSLY THROUGHOUT THE SOLUTION. NITRATE ION SUPPRESSOR NITRIC ACID DEPENDENCE, EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE, EFFECT OF AN EXCESS OF CATION, RESCAVENGING OF DESORBED RU, AND EFFECT OF REDUCED CARRIER CONCENTRATION WERE INVESTIGATED. RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH THOSE OBTAINED BY BUBBLING H2S THROUGH THE SAME SOLUTION.
