Description/Abstract:
THE GAMMA ACTIVITY AND ENERGY SPECTRUM PRESENT IN THE L-6 SOLUTION WERE OBTAINED BY USE OF THE GAMMA SCINTILLATION SPECTROMETER AND BY GROSS COUNTING RATES ON THE SCINTILLATION COUNTER THORUGH 2 WEIGHTS OF PB ABSORBERS. RESULTS ARE TABULATED. VARIATIONS OF PULTONIUM AND FISSION PRODUCTS, ACTIVITIES AS A FUNCTION OF IRRADIATION HISTORY, COOLING TIME, AND PROCESS VARIABLES ARE DISCUSSED. THE DF FROM PREVIOUS WORK WITH A PLUTONIUM OXALATE PREPARATION IS PRESENTED.
