GIVES RESULTS OF A STUDY TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTS ON INCREASINGF THE TIME CONSTANT OF THE RESISTANCE TERMOMETERS ON THE FUNTIONAL OPERATION OF THE TEMPERATURE MONITORING SYUSTEMS DURING AN OTHERWISE UNCONTROLLED EXPONENTIAL INCREASE IN REACTIVITY. RECOMMENDS A CHOICE OF THERMOHM THIME CONSTANT AND A METHOD FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND USE OF HIGH TRIP SETTINGS FOR BOTH SINGLE TUBE AND ZOME MONITORING.
