DATA ARE PRESENTED TO SHOW THE EFFECTS OF COLD WORKING AND SUBSEQUENT NEUTRON IRRADIATION ON THE TENSILE PROPERTIES AND HARDNESS OF ARC-MELTED BM ZR. MATERIAL IN 6 INITIAL STATES (ANNEALED AND WITH 10, 20, 30, 40 OR 50% REDUCTION IN AREA BY COLD SWAGING) WAS IRRADIATED AT 50-60 C TO 5.7 X 10 BY THE NINTEENTH POWER, 1.5 X 10 BY THE TWENTIETH POWER NVT. RESULTS OF POST IRRADIATION VACUUM ANNEALING AT 250, 300 AND 350 C OF TENSILE SPECIMENS ARE GIVEN.
