Description/Abstract:
THE PURPOSE OF THIS TEST IS TO STUDY THE BEHAVIOR OF A SEVEN ROD CLUSTER (WITH SLIT DEFECT) WHICH WILL OPERATE AT NEAR MAXIMUM SHORT CORE CONDITIONS. THE TEST IS DESIGNED TO DETERMINE WHAT PROBLEMS MIGHT BE ENCOUNTERED IN THE EVENT OF A RUPTURE DURING THE OPERATION OF THE NEW HIGH POWER DENSITY CORE.
