Description/Abstract:
As you know, the commission has been studying your proposal to Mr. Strauss that a high altitude test be conducted as soon as possible to check our long range detection capabilities. After through consideration of all aspects of the problem, the commission has approved the recommendation made by the staff and me that an early high altitude test not be conducted.
