ONE IS TESTING THE INTERACTION OF FABRICS AND HIGH INTENSITY RADIANT ENERGY WITH REFERENCE TO EFFECTS ON SKIN. SECONDLY STUDIES ON THE RELATIONSHIP OF SEVERITY AND NATURE OF BURN DAMAGE AND CERTIAN PARAMETERS OF BIOLOGICAL EFFECTIVENESS. FINALLY STUDIES OF THE EFFECTS OF THE LOCAL BURN LESION ON ERYTHROCYTE PRODUCTION AND SURVIAL. THE TESTING MOSTLY WAS TO BE DONE ON ANIMALS (MAINLY RATS) ALTHOUGH THE THERE WAS PLANS FOR TESTING ON HUMAN SKIN.
