Description/Abstract:
THIS PAPER DISCUSSES THE POSSIBLE USES OF PORTABLE ISOTOPIC RADIOGRAPHIC UNITS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. THE FIRST STUDIES INTO THE APPLICABILITY OF RADIOISOTOPES FOR CLINICAL RADIOGRAPHY WERE BEGAN IN 1948 USING 134CESIUM FOR DENTAL RADIOGRAPHY. FROM 1950 TO 1952 170THULIUM AND 133XENON WERE APPLIED FOR RADIOGRAPHY OF TEETH AND BODY PARTS. 144CERIUM AND 241AMERICIUM WAS APPLIED IN DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY.
