Description/Abstract:
MEMO TO D. H. ROBERTS, M.D. DATED JUNE 28, 1973. FROM CHRISTINE WATERHOUSE, M.D. SUMMARIES OF ADMISSION AND DISCHARGE FOR PATIENT ( REDACTED ) TO CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER. CHRISTINE WATERHOUSE DISCUSSES PATIENT HAVING IDIOPATHIC GRAND MAL EPILEPSY AND SHOULD BE CARRIED ON DILANTIN. AT TIME OF HIS DISCHARGE HIS BLOOD PRESSURES WERE WELL WITHIN NORMAL RANGE AND DID NOT PUT HIM BACK ON HIS ANTIHYPERTENSIVE MEDICATION. CHRISTINE WATERHOUSE STATED THAT HIS BLOOD PRESSURE WILL RISE AGAIN AS HE RESUMES HIS NORMAL ACTIVITIES AND PROBABLY IN THE FUTURE WILL REQUIRE MEDICATION OF THIS TYPE. OTHER THAN HYPERTENSION AND RELATED CARDIAC CHANGES, THE EPILEPSY AND THE HEMORRHOIDAL BLEEDING, THEY FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE IN MR. ( REDACTED ).
