RUSSELL AND J. J. NICKSON. PLUTONIUM HAS PROVED TO BE A RADIOTOXIC MATERIAL APPROXIMATELY AS HAZARDOUS AS RADIUM. HEALTH PRECAUTIONS ARE NECESSARY TO PROTECT WORKERS WHO ARE EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENT. DISTRIBUTION OF PLUTONIUM IN THE VARIOUS ORGANS AND TISSUES HAD BEEN DETERMINED BY EXPERIMENTS, INCLUDING TWO WITH HUMAN SUBJECTS CITING THE PRINCIPAL AREAS OF PLUTONIUM DISTRIBUTION.
