Description/Abstract:
Purposeful or accidental releases of radioactive material to the immediate environ of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and surrounding areas have been examined. Evaluation of the consequences of release requires rather detailed knowledge of the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, and lithosphere. Factual data are provided and an attempt has been to related these to the control of radioactive contamination.
