Description/Abstract:
The various types of high-level radioactive liquid wastes currently produced as effluents from reactor fuel processing plants are reviewed. Wasted expected from process under development for power reactors are also discussed. The wastes are characterized according to their chemical compositions, physical properties, and fission activity levels.
