This report gives data on curies discharged in beta and gamma for Plutonium and probable concentration in the Clinch River below White Oak Creek, which was 63 percent higher than the last week due to a ten-fold increase in the volume of water discharged. The flood of January 30, 1950 through February 2, 1950, swept a considerable quanitity of radioactive silt from the bottom of the lake and carried in suspension over the dam. Sufficient dilution was afforded by the Clinch River to give a probable average concentration in the Clinch below White Oak Dam less than the maximum permissible concentration for this stream.
