Description/Abstract:
Labor Standards Committee Case Report. This work consists of repainting of the building exterior and the exterior piping, tanks, structural steel, and concrete diked areas at Bilding 3608. This is a recoating of the original paint due to the effects of the elements on the exposed surfaces of the equipment and building. The work scope will also include suppport functions for rigging, labeling, and cleanup. Extensive coordination with the Waste Operations shift operators will be required to minimize the effect on daily operations at 3608. This work is routine maintenance of existing facilities. Schedule coordination will be required with the Waste Operations organization because a large portion of the effort will be perfomed during off shift hours and on weekends in order to minimize the impact on personnel and reduce the potential for damage to private vehicles in the parking area. It is proposed that this work be performed by MMES forces. $107,800.
