Description/Abstract:
Memorandum discusses the distribution of radioisotopes at reduced prices for medical, biological, and other research uses under a subsidy-at-the-source plan versus a more direct method of financial assistance for providing the isotopes. The role of the Isotopes Division in determining that the proposed used lies in the statutory categories of permissive use for byproduct materials is emphasized.
