Paper discusses problems concerning the general action of nuclear radiations (especially of neutrons) and of artifically radioactive substances when incorporated into the organism. Of special interest is the question whether and under what conditions effects can occur here that are very powerful, very rapid, and become quickly observable (an action which could be used as a weapon of war), besides the well known and generally damaging actions which are to be expected.
