Description/Abstract:
Memorandum discusses recent consideration of the disposition of medical records and where they would be kept ultimately. The date of separation of the Clinton Laboratories' employees of the Metallurgical Project and of Monsanto Chemical Company, Clinton Laboratories, is clearly set as 7/1/45. Therefore, all records will be returned to the Metallurgical Laboratory, University of Chicago. All persons who were employed prior to 7/1/45 and remain employed by Clinton Laboratories after 7/1/45 will have a photostat copy made of medical records which will be maintained in the files at Clinton Laboratories. Active charts will have originals placed in wooden boxes for return to University of Chicago as soon as the originals have been photostat copied.
