Description/Abstract:
Labor Standards Committee Case Report: Install one double-wide office trailer with restrooms. The trailer will be placed on the north side of K-1037 and will house subcontractors who conduct business with the ER Program on a recurring basis. The trailer is 24 feet wide and 65 feet long. Potable water, sanitary sewer, and electrical services will be provided. Water and sewer connections each require approximately 50 feet of piping underground for tie-ins. Electrical service will be supplied from a nearby service pole approximately 3 feet from the east side of the trailer. The installation of underground waste and sewer lines are a traditional construction activity. Providing final electrical tie-ins and connections to existing power distribution systems is typical work performed by Maintenance electricians. Final tie-ins to existing piping for sanitary water and sewer is also typical work performed by Maintenance. The Construction Manager will install the new underground piping. The Facility Manager will procure the trailer with porches and ramps and make final tie-ins to utilities. $118,101.
