Description/Abstract:
Labor Standards Committee Case Report: Provide services to remove the mix tanks from four concrete trucks currently staged at the K-1064 Penninsula. Provide services to characterize, decontaminate as necessary, and section the mix tanks for storage in B-25 boxes. The process of cutting/burning mateial into manageable sizes and placing in B-25 storage containers has been considered routine maintenance work. This process is part of the action plan to reduce existing amounts of contaminated materials generated during plant operation. Exclusion 1.A.3. MMES will provide the material, equipment and manpower necessary to peform this work. The manpower to be used is part of our stable trained maintenance force. $16,788.
