Description/Abstract:
Labor Standards Committee Case Report: On-going R&D of antennas for tokamaks and stellarators involve engineering design changes whereby components are modified to meet new criteria for the next generation of rf antennas. Various components for the antenna will be fabricated and assembled in Building 9201-2. The components include: Faraday Shield, Current Straps, cavity (or housing), bellows, back plate, coax, cooling system and reflectometer. The ORNL is a world leader in the R&D efforts associated with rf heating equipment and has developed the technology with craft support for successful programs. The craft support is directly involved with the experimental work. It is proposed that MMES Craft prform this work. $64,300.
