Description/Abstract:
Certain experiments on the leaching of ignited graphite residues are referenced. These experiments were designed mainly to determine preliminary rate data and performance data on stainless steel filters. In addition to the referenced experiments, it is suggested that certain experiments should be done on the recovery of Uranium from graphite by simple leaching, or grinding and leaching, without burning.
