Description/Abstract:
Recent development work indicates that the pH adjustment of the radioactive RaLa Versene feed solution could be avoided and a single "cold" Versene solution used for Strontium elution. Experiments performed in the full scale production equipment to determine both the acid hold up in the filter system and the number of carbonate metatheses required to remove 90 percent of the sulfate are referred to.
