Description/Abstract:
Memo describes purpose of 706-C in providing safe working conditions for highly readioactive materials. It is stressed that 706-C can become a major hazard unless detailed care is taken in keeping conditions within safe limits. It is felt that if work proceeds in 706-C without some reorientation of the principles involved in radiation protection, activities are expected which will either interfere with or completely stop the proposed program.
