Labor Standards Committee Case Report: The scope of this project includes shop fabrication and field installation of equipment for the decontamination and dismantlement of equipment as part of the Selective Equipment Removal Project. This activity will require the close oversight and involvement of the research personnel who are responsible for this project and must be involved to complete the gathering and docmenting of research data. This project is part of the DOE Robotics Technology Development Program under which ORNL is developing a Selective Equipment Removal Sysytem. This work is essentially maintenance support for the assembly, installation, connecting, and disassembly of equipment for the purpose of conducting research experiments. Decontamination and cleaning of equipment used as part of the project. It is poposed that MMES forces perform this work. $30,000.
