Labor Standards Committee Case Report. The scope of this project includes the shop fabrication and field installatoin of equipment for the decontamination and dismantlement of equipment used as part of the Robotics Assessment Facility Project. This activity will require the close oversight and involvement of the research personnel who are responsible for this project and must be involved with the decontamination and work on this equipment to complete the gathering and documenting of research data. This project is part of the DOE Robotics Technology Development Program under which ORNL is developng a Selective Equipment Removal System. This work is essentially maintenance support for the assembly, installation, connecting, and disassembly of equipment for the purpose of conducting research experiments. Decontamination and cleaning of equipment used as part of the project. It is proposed that MMES forces perform this work. $20,000.
