Description/Abstract:
The fact that at certain times, lake level is kept near the top of the spillway, is discussed, along with potential for flach flood washout and its associated hazards of releasing radioactivity into the Clinch River. Recommendations for care not to exceed maximum allowable concentrations of radioactivity in the Clinch River by adjusting the level of the lake to account for rainfall on the White Oak Creek watershed, flow in the Clinch River, and concentration of radioactivity in the White Oak Lake water.
