This report was being issued to provide an inventory of waste disposals from ORNL organizations at the Y-12 Plant site and from ORNL proper that were handled by the Y-12 Plant Maintenance Division. Total disposal quantity was approximately 9,200 tons in some 24,000 disposals. Fusion Energy contributed the most tonnage, 3,400 (37 percent), and Analytical Chemistry the least, 22 (0.2 percent). Biology had the largest number of disposals, 11,400 (47 percent) and Analytical Chemistry the least, 300 (1.3 percent). The category of "Other Inorganics" --magnesium, aluminum, calcium, fluoride salts, etc.-- is the largest, representing 4,700 tons (52 percent) and 4,500 disposals (18 percent). "Debris" is the next largest at 1,760 tons (19 percent) and 4,100 disposals (17 percent). Large amounts of data are included in this report.
