This report consists of mercury data generated for the Oak Ridge area which consists of multi-element concentrations in soils from the Civic Center and Southfield Apartments, water quality analytical results, and soil methyl-mercury analytical results. The remainder of the surface soils from the Callaghan Towers area were analyzed with results of .70 - 380 ppm total mercury. Two well water samples were analyzed for a large variety of materials at the request of property owners. Minor deviations from drinking water standards were noted, and data is being sent to the Tennessee Department of Health and Environment for an appropriate follow-up. Several soil samples were checked for methyl-mercury but were less than detectable. A map of the Fairbanks Road sampling area in Oak Ridge is included.
