This report provides data on the Bear Creek Valley Oil Landfarm area and thereby satisfies one of the conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) established on May 26, 1983, between the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the State of Tennessee. Although this report contains some summary data on liquid disposals in the Oil Landfarm, detailed liquid disposal transactions involving the Y-12 Plant OIl Landfarm are contained in a classified document also prepared to fulfill a MOU commitment. The data contained in this report are being reviewed and evaluated as one part of the effort to prepare a proposal, with supporting data, rationale, and schedule for remedial/closure actions for the Bear Creek watershed area. Various tables and figures are included in this report.
