This document consists of the compilation of the Alloy Division weekly progress reports for the month of March 1956. A total of 656,450 pounds of salt was received during the week, with 482,075 pounds being dissolved. Approximately 130,000 pounds of stable salt is on hand. The third Bird centrifuge was tested and accepted. Modifications are still required on the hydraulic drum lift to insure satisfactory operation. During the week, 318, 775 pounds of extract were produced. In Alpha-4, force and bypass damper installation was started on groups of fans in 1st floor Utility Area supply, Absorber supply, and Control Bay supply. The remaining MG unit yet to be put in operation in Alpha-4 was bumped for rotation today. Additional checking out of control circuits will be made in the early part of next week, and the unit will then be accepted by Carbide.
