Description/Abstract:
This record documents correspondence between W.A. Noyes, Jr. of University of Rochester, and S.T. Pike of Unites States Atomic Energy Commission, regarding the RW Program and the evaluation of ideas applicable to radiological warfare. This letter was in response to past correspondence and the author addressess recommendations made in the initial correpondence. His comments include, but are not limited to: the Atomic Energy Commission does not find it necessary to appoint a special group or panel to evaluate new ideas applicable to radiological warfare; and the AEC has proposed a joint AEC-NME ad hoc committee to evaluate radiological hazards. This copy of the letter was issued to Dr. Latimer of Lawrence Radiation Laboratory.
