Description/Abstract:
ROSEN'S OPINION IS THAT PION THERAPY HAS THE BEST CHANCE OF YIELDING DRAMATIC RESULTS AND SIDE EFFECTS ARE LESS AS COMPARED WITH ALL OTHER MODALITIES. ALL AGREE THAT PIONS MARKEDLY REDUCE THE INTEGRATED RADIATION DOSE TO THE PATIENT. RESULTS SHOW THAT EVEN BEFORE TREATMEN PROCEDURES HAVE BEEN OPTIMIZED, PION THERAPY IS AT LEAST AS GOOD AS TH BEST CONVENTIONAL THERAPY. APPARENTLY THE REPORT OF THE REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE PROJECT WAS NOT ENCOURAGING BECAUSE ROSEN CALLS IT TH "WORST MISCARRIAGE OF THE PEER REVIEW SYSTEM WHICH I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED." ROSEN HOPES THIS OFFICE CAN CORRECT THE SITUATION BEFOR THE CRITICAL STAFF AT LASL AND UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO ARE LOST.
