Description/Abstract:
CERTAIN WEATHER ADVISORY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WERE ASSIGNED TO THE H-1 WEATHER SECTION DURING THE BUSTER-JANGLE TESTS. MOST OF THE SE REQUIRED THE USE OF EITHER NEW OR LITTLE-TESTED TECHNIQUES. THE TEC HNIQUES USED ARE OUTLINED, AND THE ADVISORIES AND FORECASTS ISSUED ARE MADE A MATTER OF RECORD. WHERE APPLICABLE, THE RESULTS ARE DISCUSSED, AND THE USEFULNESS AND SHORTCOMINGS OF THE TECHNIQUES ARE INDICATED.
