Description/Abstract:
THIS STUDY EVALUATED RADIOLOGICAL MONITORING SYSTEMS FOR USE FOLLOWING A NUCLEAR ATTACK. THE RECOMMENDED SYSTEM USES A COMBINATION OF FLASH REPORTS FOR PREPARING FALLOUT CONTOUR MAPS, UNSHIELDED LAND VEHICLES, AND MONITORING ON FOOT. THE MAJOR ADVANTAGES OF THIS COMBINATION ARE L OW COST, SIMPLICITY, AND LOW PERSONNEL EXPOSURE.
