Description/Abstract:
IN ORDER TO OBTAIN DESIGN INFORMATION NECESSARY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NAVAL ORDNANCE WITH INCREASED RESISTANCE TO COUNTERMEASURES AND TACTI CAL INTERACTIONS, A GROUP OF ARMING AND FUZING COMPONENTS WERE EXPOSED TO GAMMA ENVIRONMENT. NONE OF THE INERTIAL COMPONENTS WERE DETRIMENT ALLY AFFECTED. THE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS WERE SEVERELY DEGRADED BUT W OULD HAVE SATISFACTORILY ACCOMPLISHED THEIR TACTICAL FUNCTIONS. NO EL ECTROMAGNETIC EFFECTS WERE DETECTED.
