THE BIOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR EACH TYPE OF EXPOSURE IS DISCUSS ED, A SUMMARY OF POSSIBLE BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS FROM VARYING RADIATION DO SES TO SPECIFIC ORGANS IS PRESENTED. SUGGESTIONS FOR EVALUTATING AN EM ERGECY SITUATION ARE OUTLINED.
