Description/Abstract:
As the national nuclear rocket program becomes firm, it is seen that nuclear rockets are within a decade of being available in the national inventory. This report presents the results of application-type studies made at The Martin Company. These studies were largely made using Rover-type engines. An estimate of the overall nuclear rocket development time table is presented. This estimate, however, does not necessarily coincide with official Government plans and programs.
