Description/Abstract:
This report contains the description and procedures for two additional tests to be made in the NASA Insert Test series in the 630A critical experiment reactor. Six insert arrangements and tests are described as Experiments No. 1 through No. 6 in the original document, "Test Program and Procedures for the NASA Insert Test in the 630A Critical Experiment Reactor," TM 64-10-705. The two new insert arrangements and tests presented in this report are designated Experiments No. 7 and No. 8. There is also an addition to Experiment No. 5 of TM 64-10-705 described in this report. The section numbering sequence used in TM 64-10-705 will be continued in this report to avoid confusion in reporting the test results. Measurements required include reactivity, power distribution, and relative neutron flux measurements. This work is being performed under Contract No. NAS3-6104. This program modification is considered to be insignificant.
