Description/Abstract:
The Administration and Personnel Section (Group J-1) of the Office of the Test Director was concerned with the following major activities during Operation Upshot-Knothole: (1) general personnel administration, (2) housing and messing facilities, (3) office and laboratory space and equipment, (4) check-point personnel control, and (5) mail and records. This report will briefly discuss these activities and the significant problems encountered and will make recommendations for improving these functions on future operations.
