Description/Abstract:
In the future the transfer of health surveyors between the two survey groups ("T" Area and "G" Area) will occur at more frequent intervals This will not only give the surveyors a broader training in field work by allowing them to become familiar with the various problems encountered in each area, but will enable better scheduling of the work load during absences of personnel due to Illness or vacation. The facilities for pocket meters and film badges have, since the construction of Mound Laboratory, been located in four small rooms in the basement of the "A" Building. These rooms were not actually designed for monitoring work and so were not laid out properly. Better space requirements are being laid out in the "l" Building and the work will be moved to that area in the near future. Considerable time has been spent in preparing budget and personnel estimates for proposed future programs.
