Description/Abstract:
The writer and H. E. Wagner visited the Chemical Technology Division of ORML to discuss sol-gel processed UO2 fuels including the status of the development of this process in terms of product control and effects of changing the fuel composition. D. E. Ferguson was the initial contact for the visit. R. G. Wymer and his group are the ones responsible for the studies on this process for UO2 and UO2-base fuels. Consequently, the day was spent with his group, discussing details of their studies primarily with O. C. Dean and John McBride.
