Representatives of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Scientific and Technical Information Program (STIP) convened at Brookhaven National Lab (BNL (link is external)) during the week of April 29th for the 2019 STIP Working Meeting. STIP, a collaboration of scientific and technical information (STI) managers from across the DOE complex, is managed by DOE’s Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI). The STIP network includes points of contacts from DOE programs, field and site offices, national laboratories, and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) locations. Through STIP, representatives work to ensure that the results of DOE-funded research and development (R&D) are identified, collected, preserved, and appropriately disseminated.
