Abstract
During the year 1997 the Secretaria de Salud through the Direccion de Riesgos Radiologicos published the Mexican Official Standard about the medical diagnostic using X-rays in the Diario Oficial de la Federacion. They are of obligatory observance for all hospitals and radiological rooms which have medical diagnostic with X-ray equipment in the country. These standards were emitted with the purpose improve the conditions as for safety and radiological protection it is referred employing this type of ionizing radiation emitter equipment. Also it is presented the evaluation results about conditions existing about in thirteen X-ray medical diagnostic rooms in the Instituto Nacional de la Nutricion with the purpose of providing the radiological protection means toward the occupationally exposure personnel. It was realized measurements of each one of the blinding barriers for the X-ray equipment and it was suggested the appointments arrangement. (Author)
