Abstract
Soft X-ray surveys proved the existence of a local hot bubble surrounding the solar system. Recently two experiments measured the spectrum of this hot interstellar medium with solid state detectors during rocket flights between 300 and 1000 eV. The good resolution of the experiment permitted to detect C V, C VI and O VII lines. The authors compare the results obtained during these two flights and discuss temperature and abundance determinations from the X-ray spectroscopic measurements already available.
