Abstract

The main aim of this orientating engineering-geological research was to give the characteristic of the chosen places of the inhabitants over 10000 and districting cities with the high and middle radon risk from the viewpoint of the environment and flat`s areas of radon from the geologic basis and so of the radioactivity by the form of the rating of the given city to the categories of radon risk in the scale 1:10000 in the parameter of the whole area of Slovak Republic. Wholly 29 cities was chosen for the measurement of the radon risk and following 25 district cities, where at least on the part of the area the middle or the high radon risk was found out. The concretely field measurements were made by the system of the reference areas. One reference area consisted from 15 taking of soil air from the depth 0.8 m or according to concrete terrain conditions miniaturize too. The individual taking points on the reference area in the net 3 x 5 points in the rectangle 30 x 40 m were dislocated. In the middle of the reference area directly on the surface the natural radioactivity of the individual components (potassium, uranium, thorium) by gamma spectrometry was measured. The bore into the depth 2 m was excavated from which the sample for the laboratory granulometric analysis was taken out. Total 905 reference areas of the radon risk were measured, 905 bores for taking of the samples for granulometric analysis were made and on each of the reference area the gamma spectrometry was measured - 905 measurements. The maps of the radon risk of the individual places are assembled in the scale 1:10000. The individual maps contains next basic data: the localization of the reference areas (RA) with numerical designation and designated values of the U-235 concentration, the measure of gaseous penetrability of the minerals on RA, the characteristic of the radon risk on the individual RA, the overall radon risk of RA. The reference areas are in the ratio approximately 51 % : 46 % : 3 % which are assigned into low, middle and high radon risk, respectively. 1 tabs., 12 refs. [Slovensky] Hlavnym cielom tohto orientacneho inziniersko-geologickeho prieskumu bolo dat charakteristiku vybranych miest obyvatelov nad 10000 a okresnych miest s vysokym a strednym radonovym rizikom z hladiska zivotneho prostredia a pobytovych priestorov radonom z geologickeho podlozia a tiez radioaktivitou formou zatriedenia daneho mesta do kategorii radonoveho rizika v mierke 1:10000 v ramci celeho uzemia Slovenskej republiky. Bolo vybranych celkovo 29 miest pre meranie radonoveho rizika a dalsich 25 okresnych miest , v ktorych bolo aspon na casti uzemia zistene stredne alebo vysoke radonove riziko. Konkretne terenne merania boli robene systemom referencnych ploch. Jedna referencna plocha pozostavala z 15 odberov podneho vzduchu z hlbky 0.8 m, alebo podla konkretnych terennych podmienok aj zmensenej. Jednotlive odberne body na referencenej ploche boli rozmiestnene v sieti 3 x 5 bodov v obdlzniku 30 x 40 m. V strede refencnej plochy bola priamo na povrchu merana spektrometria gama, ktorou sa zmerala prirodna radioaktivita na danej ploche v jej jednotlivych zlozkach (K, U, a Th) a bol hlbeny vrt do hlbky cca 2 m, z ktoreho bola odobrata vzorka na laboratornu granulometricku analyzu. Celkove bolo premeranych 905 referencnych ploch radonoveho rizika, odvrtanych 905 vrtov na odber vzorky na granulometricku analyzu a na kazdej referencnej ploche bola zmerana spektrometria gama - 905 merani. Mapy radonoveho rizika jednotlivych miest su zostavene v mierke 1:10000. Jednotlive mapy obsahuju nasledujuce zakladne udaje: lokalizaciu referencnych ploch (RP) s ciselnym oznacenim a vyznacenou hodnotou koncentracie U-235, stupen plynovej priepustnosti hornin na RP, charakteristiku radonoveho rizika na jednotlivych RP, celkove radonove riziko referencnej plochy. Referencne plochy su v pomere priblizne 51 % : 46 % : 3 %, zaradene do nizkeho, stredneho a vyskoeho radonoveho rizika, zodpovedajuco.}
