Abstract

This work represents the most recent status of modern developments and indicates the complexity of man's technical future. The Dictionary of Modern Engineering contains more than 450,000 terms with over 1 million translation possibilities for the fields of aviation (civilian and military), space travel, navigation, engine, turbine and rocket construction, aerodynamics, statics, atomic physics, electronics, data processing, cybernetics, machine and tool construction, mineral oils, artificial materials, plasma, lasers, as well as all related fields. In addition, expressions in the field of air travel and its related subjects, newly developed under the auspices of BVM and ICAO, were included.
