Radiative capture reaction {sup 7}Be(p,{gamma}){sup 8}B in the continuum shell model

Abstract

We present here the first application of realistic shell model (SM) including coupling between many-particle (quasi-)bound states and the continuum of one-particle scattering states to the calculation of the total capture cross section and the astrophysical factor in the reaction {sup 7}Be(p,{gamma}){sup 8}B.
